1. Left long and dangling, a skinny metallic scarf vibes like a rocker-ish necklace.
2. Channel your Inner bohemian with a turban-style head wrap.
3. Alongside your watch and bracelets, a small scarf is a welcome guest at an arm party.
4. A bundled scarf in a contrasting color gives a T-shirt style cred—and keeps your neck cozy.
Tie One On
The hipster style above may look effortless, but there's an art to doing this twist. Scarf designers Gillian Leigh and Susann Luca, of Leigh & Luca, unravel the styling secrets.
Step 1: Holding a long scarf lengthwise, twist it—loosely and imperfectly—in your hands.
Step 2: Gently wind the scarf around your neck two or three times. You want it to be voluminous, not tight.
Step 3: Tuck in any corners so no pieces are left hanging. Tug lightly on the middle to further relax it.
5. To make a basic belt one of a kind, wrap a long silk scarf around it and knot in the front.
6. Tie a handkerchief around your boot, and voila, a brand-new mood.
7. Knotted slightly off center, a cotton scarf makes for a casual, headache-free headband.
8. For this Grecian-inspired look, drape a scarf over a tunic, then belt into place.
9. Mix Master
