Long-distance relationships can be hard. Really hard. You can become resentful of your partner for not being in close proximity to you and vice versa, which can really lead to some hurtful conversations and rash decisions of breakups. When you're in a long-distance relationship, you're hypersensitive to any PDA on the streets: hand-holding, kissing, couples on an obvious dinner date, etc.
For the couples who have no choice, or have the whole long-distance thing down pat, kudos to you.
